StephanieStephanie Sigman, a Mexican-American actress. Her first role was in Miss Bala (2011), an Mexican crime drama film. Then she appeared in Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015) and Going Under (2016). Sigman was the main character in Narcos (2015), S.W.A.T. (2017) and the second season of both shows. Sigman was born to a Mexican mother and an American dad, Lee Sigman, who is a New York Yankees scout. She is an U.S. citizen through her father. [2][3][4] Her brother and baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was once married to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career in the field of Mexican television, before making her debut on film in Rio de Oro. In 2011 she portrayed the lead character of Laura Guerrero in the Mexican crime drama film, Miss Bala. Six years ago, the Mexican entry in the category of Best Foreign Language Film was selected during the 84th Academy Awards. [7][8] But it did not make it to the shortlist. [9] Sigman was nominated for a Dublin Film Critics' Circle Award in 2011 for her role in the film.
